Firefighters cut free two people trapped in serious crash on the A-45

The accident happened on the Malaga to Antequera road at 7.05am this Wednesday morning

Two people have been cut free from the wreckage of a serious accident after two vehicles collided on the A-45 road from Malaga to Antequera this Wednesday morning, 3 November.

The alarm was raised at around 7.05am when several callers alerted the Andalucía 112 emergency control room to a collision between two vehicles at kilometre 124 of the A-45, heading in the Antequera direction.

Witnesses reported that a car and small van were involved and there was a person trapped in each of the vehicles.

Firefighters had to release the two people who were trapped in the wreckage. Health workers then took over and an air ambulance transferred one of the two injured persons to hospital.

Guardia Civil traffic officers are investigating the accident.
