Andalucía's Covid cumulative incidence rate rises to 34.4

In the last 48 hours some 274 coronavirus positives have been registered in the region, and one death

The Andalusian region has this Monday, 1 November, registered a total of 274 coronavirus infections in the last 48 hours, higher than the 263 of last Monday and the 261 on Saturday.

One death has also been recorded, the same number as a week ago and one fewer than the two on Saturday.

According to data provided by the Junta de Andalucía’s Ministry of Health, the region’s 14-day incidence rate has risen 0.5 to 34.4 per 100,000 inhabitants compared to 33.9 on Saturday, which was the same on Friday. It is also higher than the 32.1 registered a week ago.

The 274 infections this Monday (48 hours) are added after the 261 on Saturday, 338 on Friday, 270 on Thursday, 262 on Wednesday, 242 on Tuesday and 263 last Monday and Sunday.

Malaga is the province that registers the most new coronavirus infections with 65, followed by Huelva with 62, Seville (43), Cordoba (28), Almeria (24), Jaén (24), Cadiz (19) and Granada with nine.

The only Covid-19 death in the last 48 hours was registered in Cadiz.
