Andalucía adds the lowest daily number of new Covid infections in seven months

The region's incidence rate has dropped to 33, and four coronavirus deaths have been confirmed in the last 24 hours


Andalucía has this Wednesday, 3 November, registered a total of 169 new coronavirus infections in the last 24 hours, the lowest figure since the 138 recorded on 30 March. The region has also reported another four Covid-19 deaths.

Data from the Andalusian Institute of Statistics and Cartography (IECA), shows the 14 day cumulative incidence rate has fallen 1.1 in the last day to 33 cases per 100,000 inhabitants, slightly down on the 33.2 of last Wednesday.

The 169 new positives are counted after the 190 on Tuesday, 274 on Monday and Sunday (48 hours), 261 on Saturday, 338 on Friday, 270 on Thursday and the 262 last Wednesday.

Malaga is the province that registers the most infections with 63, followed by Cadiz and Seville with 26 each, Cordoba and Huelva with 18 each, Almeria with 11, Granada with five and Jaén with two.
