This years Día de la Naranja in Istán will be combined with the 23rd Muestra Gastronómica on 13 May, to offer visitors the best of both worlds.

What. A festival of food and in particular oranges, in the town of Istán.

When. 13 May, 1pm to 3.30pm.
Not only will attendees be able to sample freshly-squeezed orange juice, there will also be stalls offering a range of local and traditional dishes.
A special Sopa de Maiz (sweetcorn soup) with prawns and clams is being provided by the Asociación de Personas Mayores and there will be traditional desserts at the stall run by the teachers and students of the adult education centre, SEP La Glorieta.
The bars and restaurants in the town will also have special menus for the day. Whats more, a small craft market is being set up and the day will have a festive feel with live music and dancing.
