Nerja town hall bans access to Chillar river

After advice not to visit the popular Chillar river nature hotspot went unheeded, Nerja town hall has now banned access altogether due to the risk of coronavirus contagion.

The council has banned bathing in the area popular with young people and families because "large numbers had been coming in the past few days and safety precautions were not being taken", read a statement.
