N-340 coast road in Torrox reopens two weeks after landslide

The section of the N-340 coastal road which was closed two weeks ago, following a landslide, reopened on Wednesday.

Emergency work to secure the rockface and install a safety fence in the area started immediately after the landslide, which resulted in a large rock falling onto the road near the Calaceite area to the east of Torrox Costa in November.

Repairs had been expected to take a month.
