Budding young actor leaves his mark in Sitges
Twelve-year-old Spike Parsons rubbed shoulders with top Hollywood stars and producers at the festival

A young British actor was one of the stars of the 50th edition of the Sitges film festival in Catalonia last week. The red carpet was rolled out for twelve-year-old Spike Parsons and his companions in the Campfire Creepers virtual reality series, which received its world premiere during the celebrated horror movie festival.
Spike, who lives in Sotogrande, rubbed shoulders with top film producers and Hollywood stars, including Robert Englund and Susan Sarandon.
As reported by SUR in English in September, the budding actor appears in the first two episodes of the series, made by master of horror, Alexandre Aja. Following its success in Sitges, Spike is now set to appear in another 20 episodes to be filmed in the New Year.
