La Banda Sonora de mi Ciudad

This music festival will help to highlight the hard work of the bands reflected in their musical diversity with special attention to the bands of the brotherhoods. Alhaurín de la Torre Opens 5 September. 9am - 2pm.

The ARCH team at the Rescue Centre for Horses and Donkeys has resumed its popular Sunday open mornings. Children can groom the donkeys and ponies, and volunteers are on hand to explain the charity’s work. No more than six in a group can be admitted and masks must be worn. Founded by art historian and lecturer Siân Walters, Art History in Focus arranges regular courses, study days and visits in the UK as well as cultural holidays throughout Europe. Siân is a highly qualified and experienced tutor and events organiser, and lectures regularly for the National Gallery and NADFAS (The Arts Society).

Cine Fantástico del la Costa del Sol: Western y Fantasía

The inauguration ceremony will be held on 5 September at 8pm in the Teatro Felipe VI. The four best Andalusian short films can be seen in Centro Cultural Padre Manuel on 9 September, 8pm. The five Best Short Films 2021 (international) will be shown 9 September, 6pm at the Centro Cultural y Juvenil, Plaza de la Libertad, San Pedro de Alcántara. This will include the British entry, Mirage. The winners will be announced 11 September at the Gala closing ceremony in the Teatro Felipe VI.

The International Club of Estepona is a social and cultural club welcomes English speakers of all nationalities. Botanical garden El Molino de Inca

Torremolinos. Jardín Botánico El Molino de Inca.

The site, which has been remodelled to make the gardens and facilities accessible to everyone, has now re-opened. The gardens cover 40,000 square metres of land and contain nearly a thousand plant species of which there are 150 varieties of palm. There are also several different species of birds, including some unique in Spain.
