Legendary progressive rock musician to perform at Starlite

Legendary English musician and producer Alan Parsons, one of the most recognised creators of progressive rock, will appear at the Starlite festival in Marbella on 14 July with his band, The Alan Parsons Live Project.

The multi-talented musician began performing as a young blues guitarist, but his career would take off when he was employed as a sound engineer at Abbey Road Studios in 1967. He was involved with the production of some of the most inspirational albums in the history of rock music, including The Beatles' Abbey Road, and Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon.

The Alan Parsons Project (consisting of a varying number of session musicians), as well as his subsequent solo recordings, have also been commercially successful. He has been nominated for 13 Grammy Awards, with his first win in 2019 for Best Immersive Audio Album for Eye in the Sky. Today he is known worldwide for his work with Paul McCartney, The Hollies, John Miles, Al Stewart and Steve Harley.

The concert begins at 10pm, Tickets start at 22 euros and are available from
