  • Three tribute bands will perform the music of a variety of legendary rock bands, including Queen and Bon Jovi

A charity tribute concert to support people with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) will take place in the municipal auditorium in Benalmádena on Sunday 30 May.

Organised by the Fundación Autismo Sur and celebrated Argentinian musician Federico Asan, Corazón Azul Tributo por el Autismo will present three local tribute bands who will perform the music of a variety of legendary rock bands.

These will include The Road Show Project, a popular Malaga band fronted by Federico Asan that perform a mixture of classic rock songs and their own compositions; Blaze, the coast's top Jon Bon Jovi tribute; and Queen Vision, who reproduce the music of Freddie Mercury and Queen.

The Fundación Autismo Sur is a non-profit organisation that aims to highlight and support the welfare of people with ADS. The Malaga-based organisation was founded in 2004 by a group of parents of children with ASD, with the intention of providing a place where understanding and efficiency in the therapeutic field ensures their wellbeing.

All funds raised at the concert will go towards the building of a swimming pool to provide aquatic stimulation for people with autism.

The concert begins at 4pm; tickets cost 15 euros and are available to buy online.
