Lovers of traditional country, Delta and Chicago blues will enjoy a concert by The Blues Stompers Jump Review, the coast's most celebrated blues outfit. The gig, which is free, will take place at the Bonnet Bar in Fuengirola port on Sunday 23 May.

Formed in 2014, the Blues Stompers' repertoire includes a selection of home-grown blues and boogie, although performed in their own distinctive style. The band is fronted by Víctor 'Elmore' Sánchez, a celebrated name on the Spanish blues scene. He will be accompanied by some of the best blues musicians on the coast.

The band has gained a lot of respect on the European blues circuit, and also on the local blues scene in Malaga. The concert starts at 5.30pm and capacity is restricted due to Covid-19 protocols. Reservations can be made on the Bonnet Bar's Facebook page.

Those making a reservation are asked to arrive 15 minutes before the performance begins.
