As part of the town hall's new cultural agenda, the Casa de las Navajas in Torremolinos is hosting an exhibition of paintings by two local artists.

Tiempo de Color will present a collection of landscape and abstract works in oil and acrylics, including 18 works by Graciela Valinoti, a painter of Italian-Argentinian nationality who now lives in Torremolinos.

Graciela, who trained at the Manuel Belgrano School in Buenos Aires, has exhibited her work in Argentina, as well as in Barcelona and several towns in Malaga.

Self-taught artist Sara Farias, also resident in Torremolinos, will exhibit 15 works of differing themes, all of which focus on the colour and light of the region.

The exhibition, which is free, can be visited on Friday, Saturday and Sunday between 11am and 2pm, and from 4pm and 6pm until Sunday 7 March.

The Casa de la Navajas has now become a permanent exhibition space and it will host a different exhibition each month throughout the year.
