Authentic stomping blues from Memphis, Delta, Chicago and Detroit will be on offer at the Coyote Bowling Saloon in Las Lagunas, Mijas, today, Friday.

The popular live music venue will continue its summer schedule with a concert by The Blues Stompers Jump Review, the Costa del Sol's most-celebrated blues outfit.

Formed in 2014, the band performs a selection of old-fashioned blues and boogie, and they quickly acquired a reputation for their incredible stage presence and musicianship on the local music circuit.

The band is fronted by Víctor 'Elmore' Sánchez, a household name on the Spanish blues scene. He is backed by Finnish bassist Markus Duus, Scottish drummer Andy Mack, and English harmonica sensation Paul Stylianou.

This will be the band's first performance since the lockdown and so it promises to be a spectacular night of home-grown blues at its best.

The show, which is free, begins at 11pm. Reservations, which are recommended because of capacity restrictions, can be made on 952585356.

The American-theme venue boasts several bowling lanes, a restaurant and ample parking.
