Christmas arrives in Estepona tonight, 22 November, as hundreds of people are expected to turn out for the big switch-on of the festive illuminations.
It will take place at 7pm in Plaza Antonia Guerrero, weather permitting, with the participation of carol singing groups Nostalgia Navideña and Jesús Cautivo.
One of the highlights of the town's Christmas programme will come on 21 December when Father Christmas visits, accompanied by three artificial snow showers at 7, 8 and 9pm. All children dressed as Santa during the first visit will receive a present.
