The Es Arte Gallery in San Pedro Alcántara is currently exhibiting a collection of work by Cordoba artist, Aurora Cid. Chromatic Geometry is a deep investigation of the geometric shape and includes a collection of colourful abstract designs on paper, wood and metal. The colour becomes a key element, giving it a depth that is achieved through the use of the tonal gradation technique.

The pieces have been selected from her collections in the Antonio Saura Foundation Museum in Cuenca, and the town halls of Ciudad Real and Cordoba.

Aurora Cid is an award winning painter, sculptor and photographer with a consolidated career within the art world. The artist has exhibited both individually and collectively in Spain, Belgium, Germany and Italy.

The free exhibition, which will run until 22 November, can be viewed from Monday to Friday between the hours of 10.30am and 2pm, and from 5.30pm to 8pm. The exhibition can be visited by appointment on Saturday mornings: 952039945.
