The 'bad boys of jazz' as they are known, are on tour and will be visiting Spain this month. Of the four concerts in Andalucía two are in Malaga province: in Marbella and Malaga city.

The Hypnotic Brass Ensemble is formed by seven brothers from Chicago, all sons of the legendary jazz musician, Phil Cohran. The band has previously toured most of Europe, Asia, America, Africa, South America and Australia, sharing the stage with icons such as Prince, Mos Def, De La Soul, Mick Jones (The Clash) and Damon Albarn (Blur, Gorillaz). They have played at Coachella, Womad, Jazz at Lincoln Center, the Sydney Opera House and Carnegie Hall.

Their composition 'War' was one of the soundtracks used in Hunger Games and another, 'Flipside' was included in the compilation 'Late Night Tales' by Bonobo.

They are known for their unique style, blending traditional and contemporary jazz with hip hop.
