The day of the snail celebrates the culinary tradition of eating snails prepared in many different ways

Polo tournament

Ten teams will compete in the VII edition of the Torneo de La Quinta. There will also be live music and Argentinian food.

Legionnaires parade

The Día de las Fuerzas Armadas will be celebrated with a parade by Spanish Legionnaires starting from the Plaza del Obispo, Calle Molino Lario, Sancha de Lara, Calle Larios and the Plaza de la Constitución.

Ronda Romántica

Ronda.Until 27 May. Streets and plazas of the town.

Town’s people dress in costumes from the 19th century and recreate events from Ronda’s past. There is a procession and historic fair and everyone joins in to bring back the time when Ronda was home to the ‘bandoleros’.

Nao Victoria tall ship

The Nao Victoria will be berthed at Muelle 1 in Malaga port and will be open to the public between 10am and 8pm.

An exhibition of the Malaga goat breed, agricultural machinery and other activities will take place at the spring fair which will include a concert by Chenoa and an Alejandro Sánz tribute act. More information:

The Arts Society de la Frontera are holding an event with original arts and crafts, from traditional watercolours to abstract paintings, handmade jewellery to ceramics, candles, hand-woven textiles, patchwork, cards, pottery and photos.

The Phoenix club is a registered charitable association raising funds for three local charities and SSAFA in the UK. They meet every Tuesday between 12am and 2pm at Bar La Vega in Torre del Mar. The bar is just behind the Repsol garage on the way out of Torre towards Benajarafe.
