An exhibition of 44 ceramics created by Malaga artist, Pablo Ruiz Picasso.

Taller Gravura

Malaga. Until 20 January, Taller Gravura, Pasaje de Ntra Sñra de los Dolores de San Juan.

This end of year exhibition displays works by 38 Mlaga artists. All the artwork incoporates fabric into their composition.

Thirty artists under the age of 35 and with links to Malaga will be presenting their work in this exhibition aimed at promoting emerging new talent.

The exhibition pays tribute to more than 40 famous prints from the 20th century taken by photographer Sandro Miller with John Malkovich as the principal figure in each one

Malaga. Until 4 February, Sala de exposiciones La Térmica.

The American photographer Ryan McGinley is exhibiting more than 400 photographs of young nudes. The exhibition entitled ‘Yearbook’ attempts to communicate the values of youth: freedom, optimism, sensuality, emotion and freshness.

Eugenio Chicano

Malaga. Until 5 February, Salas de La Coracha, Museo del Patrimonio Municipal, Paseo de Reding.

The exhibition includes thirty two canvases completed over the last five years and which are bucolic scenes from across the province.

Joaquín Torres-Gracía

A retrospective exhibition of work by Joaquín Torres-García; from his early work in Barcelona at the end of the 19th century up to his last paintings finished in the 40s.

‘From city to museum’

The new exhibit at the Pompidou consists of 40 models of buildings in Paris built in the last 70 years. It is entitled ‘De la ciudad al museo. Arquitecturas parisinas 1945-2015’.

The Malaga artist and the sculptor from Pamplona are holding a joint exhibition entitled ‘Encuentro Jorge Rando - Carlos Ciriza.

Francisco Peinado

An exhibition entitled ‘The Greatest Story’. The painting is a huge mural consisting of five panels depicting a complete series of Bible stories. It is on display for only a short time before being shipped to the Congregational Church in Aarhus, Denmark.

‘El favor de las Bellas’ is the first individual exhibition by Ángeles Agrela. Combining sketching, painting, video and photography, Agrela explores, principally, the human form.

Estepona. Until 27 January, Casa de la Juventud.

Around a dozen, large format works make up the exhibition entitled ‘En Resumen’ by Argentinian artist Daniel Jameson.

Cruz Herrera Museum

La Línea. Permanent exhibition in La Linea de la Concepción.

The museum has been newly refurbished and has a gallery for Herreras’ works plus conference room and classroom.

Agustí Centelles

Vélez-Málaga. Until 23 January, Centro de Arte Contemporáneo .

‘The title of this exhibition is ‘Bram, campo de refugiados’ and consists of 6 photographs taken in the Bram refugee camp in France. The photographer Agustí Centelles, was one of the Spanish Republicans that fled Spain for France after the Civil War. He is now considered one of the pioneers of modern photo-journalism in Europe. He was also one of the first to use a Leica camera.


‘The Edge of Forever’

Granada. Until 18 February, Biblioteca de Andalucía, C/Profesor Sainz Cantero, 6.

International art photographer Tariq Dajani is exhibiting a collection of his work inspired by the ancient muslim civilisation of Al-Ándalus.

Malaga artists José medina Galeote and Juan Manuel Rodríguez are both exhibiting in the museum until March.
