Málaga CF increases its sponsorship income from the new season kit

The new strips have already featured in a promotional video shot in the town of Frigiliana, as part of the collaboration with the Diputación de Malaga - the new main sponsor of the La Rosaleda team

Malaga Football Club has managed to increase its kit sponsorship income by 15 per cent, ahead of the start of the 21/22 season.

The vertical stripes and the intense 'royal blue' return, a reminder of the team strip in the 90s, when Málaga Club de Fútbol dropped its Club Deportivo name.

The new kits have already featured in a promotional video shot in the town of Frigiliana, as part of the collaboration with the Diputación de Malaga - the new main sponsor of the La Rosaleda team.

As part of the provincial council's 700,000 euro sponsorship deal for season, the 'Sabor a Málaga' – taste of Malaga – logo and that of the Costa del Sol will feature in the prime position on the new shirts, in the centre of the torso.

Sponsorship of some 350,000 euros from Malaga's city council has also helped the football club to increase its income from kit sponsorships by 15 per cent, reaching almost 1.2 million.

No longer featured on the shirts are the Malaga businesses Tesesa and MiColchón although this does not rule out that both companies could continue to be associated with the club through other sponsorship products that the Malaga team offers.
