The end of week 3 at the ECC culminated in England XI and Italy qualifying for Championship Week, which starts on Monday 4 October.
After 24 exciting T10 matches, Finals Day Friday arrived, with representative sides from England, Germany, Italy and the Czech Republic battling it out for a place at Champions Week.
Italy clinched yet another victory over the Czech Republic in the Eliminator, beating them by 10 wickets, while England XI overcame Germany in Qualifier 1 by 6 wickets to qualify for the final.
Chasing the final place at Championship Week, Italy beat Germany by 9 wickets to continue their impressive resurgence which earned them the coveted spot.
In the final, Italy posted an intimidating total of 141 in their 10 over allocation, but, fortified by captain and skipper Dan Lincoln's unbeaten century, England XI had no trouble pursuing the target with three balls to spare.
Italy and England XI join Belgium and the hosts Spain from Group A and Netherlands XI and Austria from Group B in Champions Week.
The Dream11 European Cricket Championship winner will be announced on Friday 8 October at the picturesque Cártama Oval in Malaga.
