  • The seemingly unbeatable England XI side will seek to defend their position atop the points table today

Yesterday the invincible England side showed their strength as a team in the European Cricket Championships, finishing comfortably on top of the Group C points table having beaten Germany by six wickets and Finland by nine.

England XI’s bowlers demonstrated spectacular ability at the Cártama Oval by bowling the Germans out for a total of 55 runs.

Today they face Italy, who had a difficult start yesterday against Germany who clinched the win in a tantalising match.

Italy also failed to overcome the Czech Republic, who are on a winning streak having beaten all of their opponents yesterday.

With England XI seeking to maintain their position at the top of the table in matches against Italy and Germany today, it remains to be seen whether any side will be strong enough to beat the seemingly unstoppable team.
