Malaga CF, despite being unable to put season tickets on sale due to uncertainly surround the coronavirus crisis capacity limits, has responded to another of the demands of its supporters.
The La Roselada club has put its new shirts for the 21/22 season on sale in time for fans to wear the team's brand-new kit, if they wish to, to the first league match of the season next Monday against Mirandés at 8pm, at home.
Since Thursday, 12 August, the shirts have been available in the club’s three stores (La Rosaleda, Centro Histórico and Centro Comercial Rincón de la Victoria) and through its website.
The first kit has a price of 75 euros (60 for a child size) and the second 69 euros (60 child size). The third, totally black, kit is not for sale and will be only used in competitions. Club members will be entitled to a 10 per cent discount.
The shirts were unveiled almost a month ago, and the club has said they have received a remarkable reception among its faithful. “The home shirt was the undisputed star on the day of the presentation, recovering the royal blue hue of the 90s and early 2000s”, it declared in a statement.
The colour of the away kit has created a lively discussion among fans. Malaga CF itself describes it as "Alluring and mysterious. But its colour is up for debate. Pink? Coral? Orange? Whatever its hue, it is gorgeous,” it claims.
