Fans allowed back to La Rosaleda stadium, after 17 months of games behind closed doors

The number of tickets that will be sold for the friendly game between Malaga CF and Tenerife, on Saturday, has not been revealed yet
The public will finally be allowed to return to Malaga CF's La Rosaleda stadium on Saturday (8 August), for the friendly match against Tenerife.
It will be the first game in front of fans, after precisely 17 months of matches being played behind closed doors - without spectators or any kind of atmosphere.
The last game with a crowd in the stands was on 18 March 2020, for a league match against Zaragoza.
On Saturday, fans will be able to enjoy live football again, but not all who want to go will be able to attend, because there will be a capacity restriction after the rebound in Covid-19 infections in recent weeks.
The Malaga club, in fact, still does not know how many spectators will be allowed by the Junta de Andalucía, although it could be between 25 and 30 per cent on this occasion. Supporters who registered for the Malaguista Faithful campaign a few weeks ago, will receive priority for the game and the club has announced that they will only sell one non-transferable ticket to each person
The football club has also reminded fans that the ground's bars will be closed, so there will be no sale of food or drink during the match.
