The second half maration and fifth coast run organised by Holiday World were officially presented on Wednesday morning.

The races, which will raise funds for the Proyecto Hombre foundation, will take place on 8 March from 10am.

After the success of the previous editions, more than 1,500 people are expected to take part.

Organised in conjunction with Benalmádena council and with the collaboration of Obra Social La Caixa, there will be three races taking place on the day.

The starting and finishing line will be the elephants roundabout at the entrance to the Holiday World resort and the routes will cover the entire Benalmádena coastline (Puerto Marina, Club Náutico and La Capitanía) with 21, 10 and five-kilometre races, designed for both adults and children who want to participate by running or walking.

Registration (from dorsalchip.es) costs 17 euros for the half marathon and 12 euros for the 10km and 5km races for adults and six euros for any children.

The price includes a runners bag, and after the race the awards ceremony will feature music, entertainment and a paella at the resorts Beach Club.

Access to the premises for non-runners will cost six euros per person.
