Any thoughts of Malaga Femenino's frustrating draw at Collerense last weekend were put to bed with a thumping 4-0 win over Tacuense on Sunday.
In the first half, Malaga had little to show for their domination of the ball, with their play often too hasty to create occasions of note.
Malaga coach José Herrera tweaked his lineup at half-time by bringing Cintia on for Farfán, and this decision bore immediate fruit when María Ruiz converted a cross from the substitute a minute after the restart.
Cintia was heavily involved in Malaga's second, too. It arrived ten minutes later when her shot cannoned back off the crossbar and Adriana was alert enough to poke the rebound home.
The third came when Arantxa's shot from the edge of the area deflected off the unfortunate Yazmina into her own net.
There was no doubting the authorship of the fourth goal, which Arantxa scored to kill off Tacuense's lingering hopes of a comeback. Malaga now find themselves sixth in the table.
