Marbella may be undefeated but the league table doesn't lie. The Costa side already find themselves six points off leaders San Fernando after their stuttering start to the campaign continued on Sunday with a 1-1 draw at home to Sanluqueño.

David Cubillo's side took the lead very early on. Having started in their usual high-intensity fashion, Mustafá found himself surging down the left wing before delivering a cross for Juergen who dinked the ball over Isma Gil to put his side into the lead.

The same pair combined in the second half but on this occasion Isma Gil's left hand denied the Colombian when he looked certain to score.

Despite being on the back foot for much of the game, Sanluqueño started to turn the screw after the introduction of veteran former Spain striker Dani Güiza. Darío Guti had a chance to equalise but his volley flew just over the crossbar.

The Marbella resistance didn't last, though, and Peter levelled the scores with three minutes to go, converting a rebound off Marbella keeper Wilfred.

Now the Costa side face a difficult run of games. They will travel to Real Balompédica Linense and will welcome two direct rivals to the Estadio Antonio Lorenzo: Cartagena and Recreativo de Huelva.
