Atlético Malagueño, Malaga's reserve side, put up a good fight but came away empty-handed from their trip to take on Segunda B Group IV leaders Cartagena on Sunday.

Despite a good first half when Juan Cruz equalised just before the break, the hosts ran away with it in the second half with further goals from Fito Miranda and Elady (3-1).
