Alejando Davidovich jumps up rankings after reaching Bangkok Challenger final

This is the young Spaniard's highest placing since becoming a professional 14 months ago

Despite losing out in the final of the Bangkok Challenger on Sunday to James Duckworth (6-4 6-3), local tennis star Alejandro Davidovich climbed up to 180th place in the world tennis rankings.

This is Davidovich's highest placing since becoming a professional 14 months ago.

This makes him Spain's 15th best tennis player at present.
