Andalucía has registered a total of 528 new coronavirus infections this Monday, 20 September, for the latest 48-hour period. It is a slightly worse figure than the 474 recorded on Saturday and the 508 added last Monday, according to official data.
The Andalusian Institute of Statistics and Cartography (IECA), has also added five deaths, lower than the nine on Saturday and the seven a week ago.
The region’s cumulative incidence rate stands at 72.9 cases per 100,000 inhabitants, some 2.6 lower than on Saturday, and 29.3 down on seven days ago.
The 528 cases in 48 hours are registered after the 474 on Saturday, 563 on Friday, 588 on Thursday, 628 on Wednesday, 577 on Tuesday and the 504 last Monday.
As for deaths, there have been four in Almería, one in Cadiz and another in Seville. The IECA has made an adjustment in the number of deaths in the province of Jaén.
