  • The Ministry of Health notified 3,261 new coronavirus positives in the daily update, while the country's incidence rate falls to 109.38

Spain registered 3,261 new Covid-19 positive tests on Tuesday, 15 September, the lowest daily number of infections since 12 August, 2020 - more than thirteen months ago.

The fifth wave continues to decline with a cumulative incidence rate that fell almost another 7 points to 109.38 cases per 100,000 inhabitants at 14 days, a level not seen since 29 June.

The most negative data was the number of deaths, as the decline in infections is still not reflected in funeral homes. The Ministry of Health added 155 coronavirus deaths in the daily update, the worst data since Friday, 3 September.
