The Andalucía region has, this Tuesday 10 August, added 28 Covid deaths, which is the worst data since 11 May when 54 deaths were recorded.
Some 3,418 new infections have been registered in the last 24 hours, a figure lower than the 4,459 on the same day last week, according to data from the Andalusian Institute of Statistics and Cartography (IECA).
The cumulative incidence rate continues to drop in the region for the seventh consecutive day, standing at 563 per 100,000 inhabitants in the last 14 days, some 2.6 points less in 24 hours and 34.6 points less in a week.
The 3,418 positive infections this Tuesday are registered after the 4,184 for Monday and Sunday, 4,360 on Saturday, 4,651 on Friday, 4,496 on Thursday, 3,655 on Wednesday and the 4,459 last Tuesday.
By provinces, Seville (891) overtakes Malaga (775) as the one with the most new infections, followed by Cadiz with 620, Almeria and Cordoba with 332, Huelva with 182, Granada with 176 and Jaén with 120.
As for the ten deaths, Malaga adds 14, Almeria, Cordoba, Granada and Seville add three each, Cordoba one, Huelva another and Jaén none.
