As we head into the second half of 2021 it is time to take stock of the cars most in demand by buyers in Spain. According to data from the Spanish Association of Vehicle Manufacturers (Anfac) these are the best-selling models between January and July.
1 - Seat Arona
So far this year, Seat's small SUV has sold no less than 15,046 units, with a total of more than 350,000 registered since its launch in 2017. Designed, developed and manufactured in Barcelona, the new Arona is offered at prices from 14,800 euros.
2 - Hyundai Tucson
Hyundai registered 11,730 sales of the Tucson until July. Hyundai's hybrid features prices starting at 31,700 euros.
3 - Seat Leon
The latest winner of the ABC Award for Best Car of the Year in Spain is turning out to be a real bestseller. The Seat León, which jhas won the award for the second time, is a compact five-door with a 'Sport Tourer' family version and has designed, developed and manufactured in Spain. It is Seat's first 100 per cent connected car, with constant internet access and users can access information about their car and control functions such as the opening of doors and lights, manage alerts, and obtain real-time information on service stations or parking spaces.
4 - Seat Ibiza
More than 11,100 Seat Ibizas were sold in the first half of the year. It is known for its iconic and youthful design and a dashboard that features a floating screen.
5 - Citroën C3
Citroën updated its compact C3 in 2020, and it has quickly climbed to the top of the sales rankings. It offers a new range of colours and 97 customization possibilities of the roof, bodywork and mirrors. Prices starts at 14,949 euros (without discounts or promotions).
