Air Nostrum launches new summer routes between the Canary Islands and the Spanish mainland

Starting this Friday (23 July), Air Nostrum, Iberia's franchised airline for regional flights, is boosting its connections between the Spanish mainland and the Canary Islands.

The company has announced that, until mid-September, it will offering new routes that will connect Lanzarote with Malaga, Seville and Valencia; Tenerife with Alicante; and Gran Canaria with Alicante, Asturias, León, Melilla, Valladolid and Vigo.

Air Nostrum said that to strengthen connections between the Canary Islands and the mainland, some 69,400 seats have been put up for sale this summer, which is 36 per cent more than the number offered in July and August 2019.

"With 75,507 flights and some 5.2 million passengers per year, Air Nostrum is the leading regional aviation company in Spain and one of the largest European airlines in its class," said the company which has a turnover of more than 500 million euros and 1,400 employees.
