The Junta de Andalucía's spokesman, Elías Bendodo, has ended the speculation about early regional elections and said that voters will go to the polls on the last Sunday they can be called: "On 27 November, 2022".

Before opening a temporary exhibition at the Eugenio Chicano museum in Malaga, Bendodo answered questions from the press about when voters will go to the polls, saying: “A date for the next elections? 27 November, 2022. Why that date? Because it is the last Sunday that they can be called at the end of the four-year term.”

“With that message the whole debate is settled. This government is stable and has a mandate from the public to provide stability to Andalucía,” he said.
