The president of the Junta de Andalucía, Juanma Moreno, has tested positive for Covid-19 this Thursday (27 May). The head of the regional government underwent a test after coming into contact with an infected person on Monday .
Moreno, who has not shown any symptoms of the disease, is well and will remain at home in isolation for 10 days since the contact (until 3 June), the Junta said in a statement. His last public appearance was this Thursday morning at a parliamentary session.
The self-isolation will not affect Moreno's duties as head of the regional government, and he will work from his home, attending next week’s committee of experts meeting virtually.
No tengo síntomas.
