easyJet announce three new routes connecting Birmingham with airports in Spain this summer

The low-cost airline easyJet has announced this Thursday (1 April) three new routes that will connect Malaga, Alicante and Palma de Mallorca in Spain with the British city of Birmingham during the summer season.

The route between Malaga and Birmingham will be operational from 29 June to 30 October with two flights a week on Tuesdays and Saturdays. The airline has also announced a seasonal base with three aircraft in Malaga.

Meanwhile, the connection between Alicante and Birmingham will operate between from 30 June and 29 October 29 with three weekly frequencies - Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays.

The route between Palma de Mallorca and Birmingham will operate between 3 July and 30 October with three flights a week on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.

The three new routes are now available on the airline's website.

easyJet's general manager for southern Europe, Javier Gándara, said, “we know that the desire to fly is still present and at easyJet we are prepared to take our customers to the most popular destinations, in addition to doing so with all the guarantees of security and flexibility.”
