The Spanish Agency for Medicines and Health Products (Aemps) has ordered the withdrawal of all units a batch of tablets used to treat heartburn and other conditions from the market.
The affected batch is 911064 of Rabeprazole Pensa 20 mg gastro-resistant tablets EFG, manufactured by Specifer SA and marketed by Pensa Pharma SAU, with an expiry date of 09/30/2021 - which is being recalled for being "out of specifications in stability studies."
The regulator has asked the autonomous regions to monitor the withdrawal of the tablets.
