Voters in Catalonia go to the polls on Sunday in regional elections called after the separatist ruling coalition collapsed.

The mainstream Socialist party, under ex-Health minister Salvador Illa, could emerge the biggest party. Still unclear is the size of the combined vote of the separatist parties.

A time slot has been set aside at the end of the day for those with Covid-19 to go and vote.
