Mijas council approves a plan to help entrepreneurs and the self-employed

As this newspaper reported a few months ago, the Cometha Plan is divided into two types of aid. On the one hand, there is the branch dedicated to employment, with aid worth 8.5 million euros; while the area dedicated to tourism has 1.8 million - in this case aimed at tourism companies.

The first line provides aid of up to 6,000 euros depending on the number of workers. The second will have grants of up to 50,000 euros depending on the type of tourist accommodation and up to 75,000 euros in the cases of a golf course, depending on the number of holes.

Among the main requirements that these grants include is that the turnover of companies and 'autónomos' corresponding to the first six months of 2021 has decreased by at least 30 per cent compared to that of the first six months of 2019.
