A 24-year-old drowns in a Marbella swimming pool

The young person was pulled from the water by friends at a property in Nueva Andalucía, but the emergency services could do nothing to save the victim's life

A 24-year-old person was found dead at a swimming pool in Marbella this Friday morning, 15 October, but the 112 Andalucía emergency service control centre reported that health workers called to the scene were only able to confirm the death of the victim.

The alarm was raised at 10.25 am, when the emergency service number received a call for help for a young person who showed signs of drowning in a swimming pool. Apparently, friends had already pulled the victim out of the water at the property located on the Camino del Ángel, in the Nueva Andalucía area.

National Police officers are investigating the incident.
