The Andalusian Government's delegate in Malaga, Patricia Navarro, has confirmed that, from October, face-to-face appointments with healthcare staff will be resumed in all health centres in Malaga province.

Navarro made the announcement during a visit to the Torre del Mar Health Centre, together with the delegate for Health, Carlos Bautista, before thanking all the Andalusian public health professionals for "adapting to the measures that we have been forced to implement in order to face this pandemic with the greatest safety guarantees."

Patricia Navarro pointed out that the improvement of the pandemic data in Malaga province "makes it possible to return to face-to-face appointments in primary care centres", which will be carried out progressively, "so that each health district can manage it according to their own situation.”

During her visit to the Torre del Mar Health Centre, accompanied by the deputy mayor, Jesús Pérez Atencia, the Junta delegate asked the Vélez Málaga town council “to give thought to what it considers to be the best location for the new health centre in the town, so that it can be analysed by health department technical personnel", and that the town hall makes a municipal plot available to the Junta de Andalucía for its future construction.
