The regional Minister for Development, Marifrán Carazo, has said that she has already been in touch with different political parties in the Andalusian parliament to try to resolve the impasse over approving a much-needed master planning law for the region. As reported last week in SUR in English, right-wing Vox failed to vote for it recently, putting lots of planning projects in limbo.

Carazo, speaking at a business forum in Malaga organised by SUR, said she hoped to take the so-called Lista law back to the regional parliament by August.

She said that Vox and the opposition PSOE party needed to put Andalusian interests first and not electoral interests.
