The popular Pez Espada hotel in Torremolinos, on the Costa del Sol, has reopened its doors after being closed for nine months and undergoing a major refurbishment.
Owned by Azora European Hotel & Lodging and managed by the Med Playa Group, the hotel started to welcome guests again on 4 June.
The 198 rooms and suites, common areas and lounges have been renovated and a new restaurant and an ice cream parlour have been added.
The works have allowed the hotel to be positioned in the four-star superior category and the reform has respected the protected elements of this iconic building constructed in 1959.
