  • Her receptionist was also arrested for allegedly being involved in the €200-a-time scam

National Police officers have arrested two women - a doctor and her receptionist at a private medical clinic in Malaga province - for allegedly issuing fake negative PCR tests results.

It is claimed that the receptionist would find clients, at €200 a time, who needed a negative PCR certificate to allow them to travel to other countries more freely and circumvent some of the worldwide coronavirus movement restrictions.

The police verified that the holders of the fake documents had not given any samples at any time and, after collating all the printed and digital evidence, officers raided the private clinic and arrested the two women.

The pair are both accused of falsifying documents.
