Four people have been arrested after the 15,000-euro plan to murder a Marbella resident was uncovered
The National Police have made arrests on the Costa del Sol after they unearthed a plot to murder a Marbella resident.
The arrests of the alleged hitman and a mediator in a coffee shop followed investigations that also saw other arrests in December last year.
A total of four people - two men and two women - are now being held in connection with the plot to murder the person, of Central American origin and a resident in Marbella, for the sum of 15,000 euros.
According to sources, during the latest police operation, 700 euros in cash and a pistol - that turned out to be a compressed air weapon - and mobile phones were seized.
The arrested people face conspiracy to murder charges.
