Andalucía has registered another 42 coronavirus-related deaths in the last day, the highest figure since last Tuesday when there were 48 deaths, according to official figures from the regional government.
The Junta has also recorded 1,366 new infections, up 292 on Monday and 586 more than the same period a week ago.
In the latest figures the provinces of Granada, Jaén and Seville each listed seven deaths, followed by Malaga and Almeria with six, Cadiz with five, Cordoba with three and Huelva with one.
Of the 1,366 infections registered in the region, Cadiz is once again the province with the most infections with 474, followed by Malaga with 188, Cordoba with 163, Almeria with 150, Jaén with 134, Seville with 119, Granada with 90 and Huelva with 48.
