A British man has been given a two-year suspended sentence and a 183,500-euro fine after he admitted causing the death of a 66-year-old man who had been "bothering" his daughter in a bar in Fuengirola in 2018.
The victim, Mario Sauco, who was drunk, immediately left Churchill's bar when he was asked to by the owner.
The father of the girl, Mark T., having heard about the incident which was neither sexual in nature nor constituted any form of abuse, followed him onto the street and punched him twice.
The victim suffered severe head injuries when he hit the floor and died days later after being in a coma.
