The Guardia Civil in Sayalonga announced on Tuesday that they have arrested a man in relation to the robbery of 116 metres of crash barriers just days after they had been installed in the small hamlet of Corumbela, which belongs to the Axarquía village, last year.
The suspect is the manager of the company that had installed the safety barriers just days before their disappearance. Officers said that the man already had a criminal record for committing the same type of offence. Three other workers from the company are also being investigated.
