The Local Police force in Ronda has been praised this week for raising 500 euros to pay for an urgent operation for a dog that was run over on an industrial estate.

The six-month-old Warren Hound, now named Blosson, had a fractured shoulder with the bone sticking out and required emergency surgery.

Within 24 hours, the force managed to raise the required 500 euros and the operation was carried out at the San Antón veterinary clinic, where she is now recovering and awaiting a new home.
