The body of a middle aged man was found at La Duquesa marina in Manilva on Friday morning.
A worker in the port area spotted the body floating on the water at around 10.30am. Security were immediately notified and they proceeded to remove the body.
At present, the identity of the deceased is unknown. It has only been revealed that he was a middle-aged man wearing a tracksuit.
The cause of death is also unknown but the recent bad storm which struck coastal areas is the principal line of enquiry at present.
